These terms are the agreement between you and Voca for using the Voca website (voca-iq.com) and the Voca app. Please read them carefully: by creating an account or using Voca, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Voca. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
You must give accurate information when you sign up. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you, and may create and manage your account.
Voca offers live 1-on-1 English sessions with tutors, short practice exercises, games, progress tracking and related features. We keep improving Voca, so features may change, be added or be removed over time. We aim to keep Voca available at all times, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
You book sessions in the app or on the website, at times when your tutor is available. The rules for booking, rescheduling and cancelling (for example, how far in advance you need to book or cancel) are shown when you book, and may differ between plans and free trial sessions.
If you cancel too late or don't attend, the session may count as used. If a tutor cannot attend, we will reschedule the session or return it to your plan.
If you are not happy with your plan, contact us. We review refund requests case by case, taking into account how much of the plan has been used, and we will always explain our decision.
Voca Points, Vollars, badges, streaks and other rewards are part of the learning experience. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred to another account. We may correct balances that result from errors or misuse, and we may change how rewards work.
You agree not to:
Voca, its design, lessons, exercises and games, and the Voca name and mascot belong to Voca and are protected by law. You may use them only to learn with Voca.
What you create (your writing, recordings and answers) stays yours. You allow us to store and use it to provide Voca to you: for example, to give you feedback, to let your tutor review it and to improve our service.
Some feedback, such as pronunciation scores and writing suggestions, is produced automatically with the help of AI. It is designed to help you learn, but it can be wrong, and your tutor's feedback comes first.
Some parts of Voca use services from other companies, such as Google Meet for live sessions, Google sign-in, Telegram and WhatsApp. When you use them, their own terms and privacy policies also apply.
You can stop using Voca and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk or is used for fraud. Where it is fair to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
We work hard to give you a great learning experience, but we cannot promise particular results, such as a specific exam score or a certain level by a certain date. Voca is provided "as is".
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the plan that the claim relates to.
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and tell you about important changes in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Voca after that, the new terms apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq. If there is a disagreement, please contact us first: most problems can be solved quickly.
